Sausages have lots of friends. These are some of the friends of the sausage (the English sausage, Cumberland, Westmorland, Lincolnshire etc).

Onions
Green bell pepper
mustard
brown sauce
brown toast
egg
half baguette
beer
Malbec (onion, green pepper and Malbec are very special friends of sausage)
redcurrant sauce
apple sauce
big mug of coffee
baked beans
cannelini beans
other beans

Brown sauce is an English thing, similar to steak sauce.

Malbec is a grape variety with a plummy flavour. Argentinian Malbec grapes are used to make a single varietal wine which is fruity, velvety and slightly spicy. It pairs well with steak. Or sausage.

So brown sauce is a commercially-prepared condiment, rather than something you make at home, like a gravy? All righty then. What a vague name,though!

And Malbec sounds lovely.
