Suffering Hirvonen and Latvala induced cuteness overload!
Seriously, though, incredible performance from both guys on the second day, with Jari-Matti making up an unbelievable 1 minute by winning all stages flat out (and sideways. Bless him. And with bits of tree sticking out of the front, a different type of tree for each stage. *love*). If it hadn't been for that stage 2 puncture, he would have won.
The rivalry between the two of them and Loeb is good to see. Loeb obviously doesn't like that Latvala is faster than him, clearly gets under his skin. The 30 second gap going into the final day made for a splendid fight, as it should be. I still miss Marcus Grönholm; it isn't the same without him, but the goodnatured rivalry between Loeb and the works Fords, and of course the insane levels of cuteness are making this a good season.
The other rivalry to keep an eye on is Solberg versus Solberg. Petter Solberg had another shocker with the car (are his mechanics getting fed up with how harsh he is with them, and seekritly undoing bits on the car? Chris Atkinson's car seems to work just fine...) and Henning finished in the points, so right now Henning is leading Petter by two points in the points table, and he is very happy about it. Go Henning!
