hairy knee

I have grown my leg hair this winter. I shaved at Christmas, so I don't have a full season's growth. Right now some of the follicles are still three quarters of a growth cycle away from full length, but the general picture is round about natural length. The oddest thing is that the hair growth pattern is different on the two legs - anyone else find this? My right knee has this little patch of very abundant brown hair while the left knee only has fine velar hair. The hairy patch is also slightly darker skinned than the surrounding leg: I think I have a bit of someone else's knee. Judging by the gyp it gave me when I got up this morning, I can ony assume it is Michael Vaughan's.

I know the hair on my left ankle around where they put the metalwork in me is much coarser and darker than the rest of my legs. Maybe it's something like that.
