Okay. I need to start posting more, even if it is, like a kitten with the runs, all fluff 'n' shite.
Socks. Let's talk about socks.
I'm a contented wearer of those sub-ankle length trainer liner type socks, especially if they have a little tab at the heel to stop the trainer from eating the sock. I prefer them to have a looped terry towelling style interior, which provides padding to the foot, and seems to wick sweat away from the foot pretty well.
Recently I bought two pairs of the cutest wool socks. They're knee length, like little girl socks. One pair is burgundy red, and the other pair is silver grey. They keep my calves lovely and warm in this here cold weather.
Even better than those are my made in Finland grey wool stockings. I need to get an everyday suspender belt (garter belt) to wear them with. Thick stockings need sturdier clasps than the ones you get on evening/bedroom wear lingerie suspender belts. A plain black cotton one with 6 metal clasps would be just the ticket.
