What it is, is a weekly programme called "World Rally Access All Areas" (Dave, Sunday 6pm)which when there's a rally on shows actual coverage, interviews with drivers and that. When there isn't a rally on, they'll show more "fluff" pieces filmed during the recce days before the last rally - e.g. the presenter takes the Ford drivers and co-drivers ten pin bowling, the presenter gets all the drivers and codrivers to make something out of plasticine and in this case, a scalextric tournament between the Ford, Citroën, Subaru and Suzuki teams. Which was very funny. The Citroën team cheated a lot.
Rally drivers seem generally more approachable and matey than racing drivers - you'd never see this kind of lark in the televised F1 coverage.
