Two punctures for the boy Latvala, but well recovered, including an amazing performance on the second stage of the day, 15 seconds faster than anyone else. Amazing.
Odd incidents for for both Suzukis - Per-Gunnar Andersson's in-car fire sprinkler system went off for no reason during a stage, drenching him and his co-driver; and Toni Gardemeister dislocated a shoulder during a stage. Ouchy.
The final stage saw the entire Ford setup using tactics to put Seb out first on the road tomorrow. All went according to plan.
