WI raspberry jam: delicious, and why have I not been getting jam from the WI market before? They are the obvious jam producers, after all. This jam is sooooo goooood. There are large gibbous chunks of ruby, sharp, still-hairy raspberries in it. This are jam.
Coffee with milk: strangely delicious, since the coffee tin is empty enough to show its bare shiny bottom, and I had to tip it to be able to spoon out enough coffee for two cups. Logically, then, it should have been a little stale, but it was much more satisfying than coffee with milk usually is. Everything is tasty today.
Last week's tomatoes cooked up for lunch with garlic and some ham and mozzarella that "needed ate up" and marjoram from the garden: entirely delicious. Like the makings of pizza but without the bread part. Herbs are the only thing the garden has produced properly this year. OK, the zucchini are not doing badly; I give them that.
