Just been to pub in town for a couple of drinks with friends (yes, I actually got out of the house)
It's a pub I'd always kind of ignored as Yet Another Back Street Ulverston Pub. Matey on the phone to me to arrange evening out said it was "kind of, I dunno, funky. Studenty, almost"
By which he meant there was a FREE jukebox with lots of Pixies, Throwing Muses, Sugarcubes, Jane's Addiction, Revolting Cocks, NIN, Fall, Smiths etc.
HOORAY! (hey it's the provinces, I have to have sommat to say hooray about)
I'm still a little ticked that I must have put in the wrong number for Beers, Steers and Queers. Some other shit came out. But hey, it was free. Decent beer and all. Nice chat with my pals. Good evening out.
