I have been painting today. I printed out a photo from last year's holiday in Scotland (Wester Ross and Sutherland). Then I got out my oil paints and brushes and a 8 by 10 canvasboard.

I have just about finished the sky. It looks great. I was a little anxious that it would not turn out very well, as I hadn't painted in oils for a while. Sometimes I seem to completely lose my painting mojo. But happily, the paint went where I wanted it to go.

The new userpic (which finally uploaded on the 6th or 7th try - it's only a teensy weensy 4KB gif F F's S!) is a painting I did a while back.
