MY FOOT HURTS

My back yard has decking, gravel and vegetable patches. The washing line stretches over some of the decking. Yesterday, I was picking in washing from the line, and stood, in my besocked feet, on a VERY POINTY piece of gravel that had strayed onto the decking.

IT BLOODY HURT. It hurts even bloody more this morning. Limping like Herr sodding Flick now.

Like the poor young gentleman in the icon, I must have done something to annoy the god of rocks and small stones, but I do not know what.

You have my sympathies. I am also limping today, following an encounter with a particularly recalcitrant horseradish on Saturday. Damn thing would not not come out of the ground, no matter how much I dug round it.
